Only adventure therapy trips are in-person. All hour long therapy services are currently offered virtually.
Evidence based research has shown that this modality 1) improved access for those in rural and underserved areas, 2) helps overcome mobility issues due to age, disabilities, scheduling problems, and limitations in transportation, 3) minimizes concern about stigma of being seen at mental health clinic, 4) caters to those seeking greater privacy, 5) advantageous for women due to child care, spousal care, and older adult caregiving responsibilities, 6) reduces no-show rates, 7) advantageous for specific diagnostic groups such as severe anxiety and avoidant behavior, severe trauma-related disorders, and agoraphobia, and those who pose a risk to others such as those with violent/homicidal tendencies or a history of sexual assault, 8) has shown decrease in self-reported psychiatric symptoms, emergency room visits, and hospital admissions in a variety of diagnostic groups EXCEPT with schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and bipolar disorder (same amount of hospital readmission rates in these groups).
We recognize this means clients using Telehealth will need to consider finding private and comfortable space at home, and see it being advantageous to best support our clients.

Individual Therapy
Therapy is a collaborative process to reach greater health, happiness and to improve your quality of life. Through individual therapy, you will learn effective ways to cope with challenges that arise in your life. My goal is to teach you skills to improve how you navigate through life’s challenges. My hopes and goals for you are, to essentially help you build a therapeutic tool belt for yourself. Because when life puts challenges in your way, I feel it is effective to take different approaches, depending on the situation. I will work with you in an authentic, creative and compassionate way. I will do this by utilizing an integrated approach to meet your individual needs and by helping you create a more balanced life.
What to expect
The first few sessions will be spent discussing what brought you to therapy and what issues I might be able to assist you with. I use what is called the ‘Transtheoretical Model,’ which is a model is designed to help meet a person where they are, depending on which stage they are in. The reason I like this model is because, it individualizes the therapeutic approach used. During this initial phase, we will discuss a plan moving forward, and create a treatment plan for your therapeutic process.
A typical session is 45-60 minutes however, longer sessions are available.

Youth and Teen Therapy
Sean Patrick, LCPC has connected with adolescents, teens and young adults through such roles as a professor, martial arts coach and therapist at a therapeutic boarding school - before entering the field of psychology as a private therapist. He draws upon these experiences and his clinical training to develop trusting, therapeutic relationships with adolescents, teens and young adults that serve as a vital foundation for growth and change. Spiritual Wellness Coaching
Spirituality, which is defining that immaterial force or being at the essence of life itself, is the very center spoke to our entire being. It impacts our internal thought processes, external personality and how we show up in all types of relationships. Many of us have not taken the time to consciously define what our spirituality is and therefore leave certain aspects of our truest selves waiting to be unlocked. We also do not take the time to define who or what God is and how we can connect personally with God. Psychology defines spirituality as being "an awareness of a being or force that transcends the material aspects of life and gives a deep sense of wholeness or connectedness to the universe." Although there is no way to simplify the Creator of our world and universe, there is a way to connect to God in a very relational way. This offering is for those who seek to understand their personal ideas about God and our Creator more intentionally, and who would like to explore a personal relationship with God in a way that is psychologically supportive of mental health. This offering is ideal for anyone who is eager to dive deeper into how their spirituality can connect to who they are and those who are seeking deeper meaning in their life.
What to expect
Sessions are scheduled under a monthly subscription that includes four 60 minute virtual sessions per month, and unlimited text/email communication between sessions.

We currently offer outdoor excursions in Montana, Texas and Thailand. By combining outdoor adventures with clinical therapy techniques, we can effectively help our clients integrate discussed therapeutic concepts and reflections more quickly than the average in-office treatment sessions.
